First point of care for everyday illness, chronic conditions and concerns that need a diagnosis.
Your health. Our priority.
A physician who knows the whole patient is what stops care becoming a set of unconnected opinions.
- One doctor holding the whole picture, rather than a specialist per organ and nobody in charge
- Medication reviewed at every visit, because most harm in adults comes from what has quietly accumulated
- Diagnostics on site, so a suspicion can be settled the same day rather than at the next appointment
- Referral into the right department when it is needed, with the reason written down

Care for a wide range of concerns.
The illnesses adults come in with, including the ones that do not fit neatly into one department.
Advanced care for better outcomes.
Assessment, investigation and ongoing medical management for adults.
Safety. Compassion. Excellence.
Your health and comfort remain at the heart of every treatment we provide.

Questions, answered.
Common questions about internal medicine care at Humayun Hospital.
Should I see a physician or go straight to a specialist?
If you are not sure which specialist you need, start here. A physician works out where the problem is and refers you with the findings rather than sending you to guess.
I am on medicines from three different doctors. Can you review them?
Yes, and it is worth doing. Bring every box or a full list. Interactions and duplication between prescriptions are common and often the cause of new symptoms.
Will I get my test results the same day?
Most routine blood tests, X-rays and ECGs are reported the same day and discussed at your consultation. Some specialised tests take longer and you will be told which.
Do you admit patients?
Yes. Acute medical illness that needs intravenous treatment, monitoring or investigation is managed on our inpatient wards.
Still have questions?
